About Us
Kimui is established in Singapore since 1981, Kimui group of companies has a diversified business ranging from healthcare products, chemical processing, education and engineering company.
In 1999, the healthcare division is formed to meet the increasing market demand for high quality hygiene products in the medical and healthcare sectors in Singapore. In 2001, we started manufacturing our PREFERTM patented hygienic pillowcase (disposable) and we are the pioneer company who convinced the first government hospital in Singapore, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, to convert from the use of traditional cotton pillowcase to PREFERTM patented hygienic pillowcase (disposable). The hospital understand the benefits of our special hygienic pillowcase and started to use straight away. Thereafter, in the next few months, more than half of the other hospitals in Singapore, both private and government, started to follow suit and converted to our PREFERTM Hygienic Pillowcase.
By early 2003, we are supplying to more than 90% of all hospitals in Singapore. By year 2005, we have expanded our PREFERTM hygienic products (disposable) range to the following:

Kimui Manufacturing & Trading Company Pte Ltd is a hygienic product manufacturing company based in Singapore. We produce innovative hygienic products for use in the health care industries and hospitality industries. We serve both Singapore and overseas markets diligently with our products. We supply our products globally through our distribution partners in United States, Russia, Europe, Japan and ASEAN region. We are also rapidly expanding our sales into other regions, and continuously seeking reputable distributors to market our products in their countries.

In Kimui, our research and development team continuously work round the clock to produce the latest hygienic products for our customers, as our team of motivated staffs are always committed to produce the best and highest quality healthcare products for people around the world.
During the outbreak of Asian SARS in 2003, Kimui worked with Singapore hospitals closely by supplying innovative Patented hygienic products to help in the fight against the highly contagious disease. Kimui diligently continue to closely support the local and overseas healthcare sectors during other outbreaks such as Avian Flu, MERS, Ebola, H1N1 and COVID-19.
During COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Kimui contributed as a key manufacturer and supplier to the healthcare sector with Prefer™ hygienic disposable products. Our factory operated 24 hours in our production to support organisations in Singapore such as the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID), major private and public hospitals, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health, airports and quarantine centres. Kimui also export our hygienic products outside Singapore to other countries, to support their hospitals to fight against the pandemic.
Today, Kimui operate in a combined floor area of more than 10,000 square feet of factory and warehouse space in Singapore. Our production machines are fully automated. We are also working with overseas partners to set up joint venture factories and distribution centres outside Singapore in order to supply to their growing local market. Locally and globally, the demand for our products is increasing rapidly especially in the current health conscious world.
